Introducing our speakers:

Jim Whitaker, Manager: Since first joining BCMS in 2016, Jim has successfully advised shareholders on business sale transactions in the SaaS, fintech, FMCG, consultancy, event-tech, and property sectors, helping clients sell to domestic and international trade acquirers. Jim’s portfolio incudes the sale of Concise to PSAV Inc, and Catalyst Computer Systems to Constellation Inc. Prior to BCMS, Jim worked at Barclays Corporate providing guidance and support to clients on matters including finance raises, cashflow finance and FX risk mitigation.

Mark Bentley, Head of Communications: Mark joined BCMS in 2011 and has particular expertise in the creation and development of buyer-facing documentation on behalf of our clients, contributing to a wide range of high-profile M&A transactions in sectors including media, technology, retail, and professional services. Working across multiple channels, Mark also helps deliver many of BCMS’ own PR, marketing and content initiatives. Prior to BCMS, Mark enjoyed a 15-year career in publishing, working extensively in print and digital media production for some of the UK’s best-known newspaper and magazine brands.
