For the last 8 years the European Association for International Education (EAIE) has worked continuously to embrace sustainability into the association’s DNA and strove to organise a more sustainable event each year. With a conference attracting over 6500 participants, changing countries every year, they learned a lot of valuable lessons.
Join this roundtable to understand their efforts, struggles and successes and how they worked with conference venues and suppliers from around Europe to embody sustainability into their daily operations and strategic decisions. Sabrina will delve into their compelling case study, highlighting their approaches in sustainability measurement, embracing circular economy concepts, and leveraging the UN Sustainable Development Goals as their guiding compass.
