Tourism Alliance Referendum Survey and Letters to Ministers

Message from Kurt Janson from 1st July 2016

Following up on the Action Points from the Tourism Alliance Exec meeting on Wednesday, please find attached a link to a Survey on the impact of the Referendum on the UK tourism industry. The survey consists of 10 questions aimed at determining the consequences of the decision to leave the EU, the results of which will shape the Tourism Alliance’s discussions with Government on what actions need to be taken to support the sector.

The Survey will remain open for three weeks (until 21st July) with the results being presented at Tourism Alliance AGM in Parliament on 26th July to inform the discussion that will be held on the Referendum and future actions (I will send out an Agenda for this as soon as possible).

You are very welcome to send the link to your members in order for individual businesses to complete the survey.

Also attached, for your information, are copies of the letters that have been sent to the Tourism Minister and the Secretary of State regarding the Tourism Alliance’s position and the actions that we believe that the Government needs to take.

On Monday, I will send out a separate email detailing the development of the Tourism Exit Plan and how you can input into this document

If you have any queries, please let me know.
