TBOE spokesperson - “Given that the Parliament voted in favour of an early general election, which will take place on 12th December 2019, and as a result, Parliament will now likely be dissolved on 6th November, after discussions with colleagues in Westminster, we have taken the decision to move the dates of the London events to January 2020. This will include the Senior Leadership Forum, Parliamentary Debate and Senior Leadership Dinner. The events planned for Wales, Scotland and Barcelona will still take place as planned.
While this is obviously disappointing for those who were planning to attend, it’s obviously important that we are able to have the relevant people there from both government and Parliament, and therefore with an election scheduled for around those dates, this simply wouldn’t be possible. We will confirm details of the new dates in the coming days.”
