The Business of Events announces revised dates for London and Scotland Programmes in March 2020

The Business of Events (TBOE) has today announced that its London and Scotland events, which were postponed due to the early general election, will now take place on the 17th and 24th March 2020.

The TBOE Senior Leadership Forum and Reception, which has been rescheduled for the 17th March 2020, will be held at The Mermaid London and will be followed by the Senior Leadership Dinner at 10 – 11 Carlton House Terrace, the home of The British Academy, in partnership with Searcys. The revised date for The Parliamentary Debate will be announced once details of the parliamentary timetable have been released.

Also rescheduled for March is TBOE Scotland, which will now include a Senior Leadership Summit ahead of the Senior Leadership Dinner. The event will take place on the 24th March 2020 at The National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh.

Last month, more than 90 delegates attended TBOE Wales at the newly opened ICC Wales in Newport. The event, which included speakers from the Welsh, UK and Scottish business events sectors, focused on collaboration and inspired attendees to further develop Wales as a leading international business events destination.

Taking place ahead of IBTM World on November 18th, the first ever TBOE Global Policy & Practice Forum was attended by over 40 international destinations, convention bureau, medical associations and policy makers. The event, which took place at the Hotel Seventy in Barcelona, focused on developing a policy approach within the global medical and healthcare sectors.
