#WeMakeEvents / PLASA Survey - preliminary findings.

Over 1,300 people responded to the #WeMakeEvents survey with PLASA.  Before they release the full report in January 2023, they have shared a few stats:  

• Full time employees are 10% below pre-pandemic levels
• 2022 turnover expected to be 50% up on 2020
• 51% took on pandemic debt with 90% still paying it off
• 60% think Brexit has had a negative impact
• 90% of manufacturers are experiencing delays in components
• 77% of non-manufacturers are experiencing delays in finished goods
• 70% of businesses are experiencing a shortage of skilled workers
• 87% do not think university graduates are 'ready to work' in the industry.
