Britain for Events hosts Parliamentary Dinner as part of National Events Month

The Britain for Events campaign is to hold its annual parliamentary dinner on Wednesday 27th October as National Events Month comes to a close.

The private invitation only dinner, which is being held at The Conrad, London St James, Westminster, will host several senior Members of Parliament, including Zac Goldsmith, conservative candidate for Mayor of London, senior government officials from the departments of Culture, Media & Sport, UK Trade & Industry and Business, Innovation & Skills along with the Chief Executives of Visit Britain and Visit England.

The events sector will be represented by senior figures from Zibrant, MCI, Principal Hayley, Arora Hotels, the AEO, BVEP and the SECC.

The annual parliamentary dinner provides an opportunity for the events sector to meet senior parliamentarians and government officials to informally discuss issues of interest as the sector seeks to grow from its existing £41.6 billion value in 2015 to £48 billion by 2020.
