One Industry One Voice - Updates (03.12.2020)

After a huge amount of work, the launch of the latest industry campaign is set for Monday 7th December. We Create Experiences is targeting businesses to remind them of how essential events and experiences are as part of their internal and external marketing and communication. We will be back in 2021 - so we are reminding them now that they need to include events in their planning. VisitBritain - Registration opens for ‘MeetEngland Virtual’ 2021

MeetEngland has today announced the launch of ‘MeetEngland Virtual,’ a new virtual tradeshow for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE), with registration now open.

Taking place on the 9 and 11 February 2021, MeetEngland Virtual is bringing together international buyers to connect online with destinations to discover the high-quality business events offer across England.

Theresa Villiers MP to Speak at Major Events Summit 2020

The Rt Hon Theresa Villiers MP, Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Events (APPG) will be speaking at the Major Events Summit, which takes place on 2nd December.

During her session Theresa will be interviewed by Sir Gerald Howarth, former MP for Aldershot and President of the British Air Display Association, on her objectives and vision for the recently re-established APPG.

HBAA is writing to the Chancellor of the Exchequer asking him to create a ‘Re-Skill and Re-Equip’ fund to help many viable businesses across various industry sectors to Re-Skill their staff and Re-Equip their companies to enable them to adapt and stay in business.
