Launched in 2020, the UN-backed campaign Race to Zero is a global campaign rallying non-state actors – including companies, cities, regions, financial and educational institutions – to take rigorous and immediate action to halve global emissions by 2030 and deliver a healthier, fairer zero carbon world in time. Positive Impact Events has been recognised as an “Accelerator” supporting event sector SMEs.
On 3rd March, the EIF has sent the letter (accessible below) regarding Red Diesel to the Chancellor of the Exchequer and a number of MPs etc. on behalf of both EIF and BVEP. They have also been in contact with LIVE who are also going to be writing to their Parliamentary contacts. Please feel free to circulate this to your members and encourage them to lobby their MPs.
